SBOE Committee Asks TEA to Draft Possible Revisions to Hearing Examiner Rule

The SBOE Committee on School Initiatives signaled that it would be open to starting a process that could lead to the full board possibly revising rules governing qualifications for Texas licensed attorneys to serve as independent hearing examiners (IHE) in local school district employment contract disputes.
