EPA’s 2023 Clean School Bus Grant Program
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced Monday that applications are being accepted for the 2023 Clean School Bus Grant Program that will award about $400 million nationally to help eligible applicants buy zero-emission (ZE) school buses, clean buses and ZE charging infrastructure.
This is the first round of a multi-year program.
The EPA is prioritizing applications that will replace school buses serving high-need local education agencies (such as ISDs and charters), rural areas and federally funded tribal school districts.
Deadline: Aug. 22, 2023.
