Richardson ISD Parent Loses Appeal Over a PG Rated Disney Movie Shown to her Child at School

Ruling: A state law that allows parents to give written notice to excuse their children from school activities that conflict with the parents’ religious or moral beliefs applies only if the parent gives the notice to the child’s teacher, and not to the principal or any other school official.
