Insurer Loses Appeals Against Two More ISDs Over Disputed Property Damage Claims

Rulings: An insurance company can’t force the lawsuits filed by two ISDs over storm related property damage claims into arbitration. The Travelers Indemnity Co. v. Grapeland ISD, No. 12-22-00311-CV, issued May 10, 2023, by the Texas Twelfth Court of Appeals (Tyler) and [Travelers] v. Gustine ISD, No. 11-21-00229-CV, Issued May 25, 2023, by the Texas Eleventh Court of Appeals (Eastland).
