Fish Art Contest for Texas Students in Grades K to 12

The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center has begun accepting entries for the 2024 Wildlife Forever’s Fish Art Contest for students in grades K to 12.

To complete their piece of art, students must research their fish, its habitat and conservation efforts being made to protect the species.

Students in grades 4 to 12 must submit a creative writing piece as well.

Texas winners will be automatically entered in the affiliated national contest.

Educators can find entry forms, rules, guidelines and more online.

Texas Parks and Wildlife is one of the many sponsors of the contest. The contest is now in its 25th year.

Deadline: Feb. 28, 2024.
