Humanities Texas to Award 15 Outstanding Teachers $5,000 Each

Humanities Texas — which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year — is accepting nominations for its 2024 Outstanding Teacher Awards.

Fifteen winning teachers will receive cash awards of $5,000 each, plus $1,000 for their schools to buy humanities-based instructional materials.

Nominees must be Texas public or private school teachers, and must meet other specified criteria.
