Texas Supreme Court Dismisses Two COVID-Era Lawsuits as “Moot”

The Texas Supreme Court (TSC) this morning dismissed two lawsuits — that have been stuck in appeals courts for many months — stemming from 2021 decisions by San Antonio ISD and the City of El Paso to defy Gov. Abbott‘s executive orders by instituting their own mandates designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
