Federal Judge’s “Precedent Setting” Ruling Says SBEC Unlawfully Rejected Military Spouse’s Out-of-State Certification

SBEC violated a federal law by refusing to recognize the two out-of-state school counselor licenses held by the wife of a military service member after she and her husband moved to Texas due to her husband being reassigned to a Texas Air Force base, a federal judge in Austin ruled this week.
