TEA to Hire Contractors to help SBOE Adopt Vocabulary Lists and Lists of Literary Works

The TEA has posted requests for proposals (RFPs) for contractors to help the SBOE comply with its new legislative mandate to approve vocabulary lists and lists of literary works for students in all grade levels.

• Note: The requirement that the SBOE adopt the two lists is one of the many provisions of the HB1605/regular session legislation (one page summary and article) that reforms the instructional materials adoption process.
