Texas AG Answers a Question about School Marshals
- Opinion No. KP-0454: A court would likely conclude that a school board could adopt regulations to authorize uniformed school marshals to “duty belt carry” a handgun.
The opinion was requested by state Sen. Brian Birdwell, R-Granbury.
