Texas Alternative Fueling Facilities Program Grants

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) announced today that applications for Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP) grants are being accepted.

A total of $12 million in grant funding is available to construct or reconstruct fueling facilities that provide natural gas, electric charging and other alternative fuels within this Clean Transportation Zone.

Applications will be accepted and considered on a competitive basis until March 22.

Although state and local governments are among the multiple categories of entities that may apply, funding priority will focus on facilities that will be open to the public, and at least $4 million of the awarded grants is reserved for small businesses.
