Garland ISD Can’t Block Building Contractor’s $1.1M Breach-of-Contract Lawsuit

Ruling: An ISD lacks legal immunity protections from being sued for breach of contract by a building contractor that claimed the ISD — and not the contractor — was responsible for construction delays and cost overruns. Garland ISD v. Reeder General Contractors, Inc., No. 05-22-00855-CV. Issued Jan. 26 by the Texas Fifth Court of Appeals (Dallas)
