TEA “Grow Your Own” Program Grants
The TEA today began accepting applications from ISDs and charters for the latest round of grants under the Grow Your Own (GYO) initiative.
This grant focuses on: 1) the recruitment of future educators by building interest in teaching among high school students, 2) developing their foundational knowledge and skills of teaching, 3) attracting highly skilled teachers to lead education and training programs and 4) implementing high-quality education & training courses.
Deadline: April 1.
