Nominate a 2024 SBOE “Student Hero”
The State Board of Education (SBOE) this morning began accepting nominations for the 2024 SBOE Student Heroes Award.
The program annually recognizes students in grades PK to 12 who volunteer to assist or benefit their fellow students and/or communities.
Nominations may be submitted by anyone — such as school personnel, other students, parents, or community members. Nominees must be public or charter school students.
One winner from each of the 15 SBOE districts will be recognized with a medal and plaque presented by his or her SBOE district member at their school.
