Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities to Award Two Grants

The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities is accepting applications for these two grant opportunities:
- Choice-Making Among Youth (Birth-14) — to increase choice-making skills among youth with developmental disabilities, from birth to age 14, and among their parents and caregivers. One grant of up to 300,000 a year for up to five years will be awarded to one organization.
- Self-Determined Health Care — to promote strategies of self-determination to help individuals with developmental disabilities communicate with medical providers and navigate the health care system. One grant of up to $125,000 per year will be awarded to one organization for up to five years.
The application deadline for both grants is Aug. 23:
