Beaumont ISD Loses Final Appeal Over Being Sued in Hurricane Harvey Insurance Related Dispute

The Texas Supreme Court (TSC) — without comment — today rejected Beaumont ISD’s appeal seeking to dismiss a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed against the district that resulted from an insurance related dispute arising from Hurricane Harvey in August 2017.
