The Mark Cuban Foundation (MCF) is accepting applications from students in grades 9 to 12 residing in the D/FW and Houston areas to attend a free three-Saturday artificial intelligence (AI) focused “bootcamp” in November.

The MCF AI Bootcamp Program, hosted at a local company, provides students with an introduction to AI and machine learning.

Details:

  • The bootcamps will be held in Addison, Dallas, Plano, Richardson and Houston in sessions of five hours each on Nov. 2, 9 and 16. (Bootcamps are also taking place in cities in other states.)

  • Students selected must live within 30 miles of their preferred bootcamp site to attend.
  • The MCF strongly encourages girls, students of color, first generation college students, and those from low-to-moderate income households to submit an application as part of the foundation’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the bootcamps.
  • Application deadline: Sept. 30.
