Callisburg ISD Reports Data Breach

The 1,151-student Callisburg ISD is the latest Texas school district to report a data breach.

According to information reported (here) by the Texas Attorney General’s Office this week, the district is notifying, by U.S. mail, 1,449 Texans that their personal information may have been compromised.

The types of information reported to have been compromised included:

  • Names of individuals.
  • Social Security number.
  • Government issued ID numbers (on driver’s licenses, passports, state ID cards, etc.).
  • Financial info (account numbers, credit/debt card numbers, etc.).
  • Medical information.
  • Health insurance information.

No further information was immediately available.
