SBOE’s Instruction Committee Sets July 14 Special Meeting

The State Board of Education (SBOE) Committee on Instruction will hold a special meeting (agenda) at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025.

The committee will consider a request by publisher Accelerate Learning to update the content of its STEMscopes Texas Math grades K-8 and Algebra I products that the SBOE had previously approved during the 2024 Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process in November 2024.

Prior to voting, the committee will hear public testimony (if any) and will consider any written public comments submitted during the 30-day comment period.
