TEA to Jointly Release 2024 and 2025 A-F Accountability Ratings
The TEA announced today (July 24, 2025) that the 2024 and 2025 A-F accountability ratings will be jointly released according to the previously announced 2025 release schedule.
The long-delayed 2024 ratings were cleared for release thanks to a July 3, 2025, ruling by the Texas Fifteenth Court of Appeals (article) that was not appealed by the school district plaintiffs (Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD, et al.).
Under the schedule announced by TEA:
- Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025 — 2024 and 2025 ratings privately posted to ISDs and charters. (First day to file appeals.)
- Friday, Aug. 15, 2025 — 2024 and 2025 ratings publicly posted to Txschools.gov and Accountability Reports.
