TASA Anounces 2026 Texas Teachers of the Year

Photos, Texas Teaches of the Years=

Congratulations to the 2026 Texas Teachers of the Year announced today (Oct. 17, 2025) by the Texas Association of School Administrators.

They are:

  • Vickiela Wright of Clear Creek ISD is the 2026 Texas Elementary Teacher of the Year, and will represent Texas in the National Teacher of the Year competition.

  • Timothy Fails of Lewisville ISD is the 2026 Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year.

They were among the six finalists and 40 regional finalists for the honor.
