Beaumont ISD Fraudster Calvin Walker Loses Final Bid to Keep Electrician Licenses

Calvin Walker — the man convicted of bilking Beaumont ISD (BISD) out of $1.2 million — has lost his final bid to keep his Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor’s licenses.

The Texas Supreme Court (TSC), without comment, on Dec. 19, 2025, let stand a prior ruling by a three-member Texas Fifteenth Court of Appeals panel dismissing the lawsuit that Calvin Walker filed seeking to overturn the revocation of his electrician licenses by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
