TEA Seeks “Teacher Liability Insurance” Vendor
The TEA has issued a request for proposals (RFP) from “qualified respondents” to design, implement and manage a comprehensive insurance program for classroom teachers.
The stated goal is to ensure that classroom teachers understand their rights, duties and benefits — and are protected against liability claims arising from their professional duties.
The posting is in compliance with this provision of the 2025 HB2/regular session massive school finance bill.
Response deadline: Feb. 25.
