SBOE to Hold Special Meeting Next Week

Discussion/Action
The items include:

- Public hearing/discussion on a proposed new Social Studies TEKS.
- Approval of legislation-required parental rights training for ISD trustees.
- Approval of a legislation-required civics training program for designated school personnel to foster the teaching of civics to students as a social studies component.
