Posted: SBOE’s Near Final Literary Works Lists/Social Studies Revisions
The TEA has posted (for public comment) the SBOE’s near-final:
- Literary works lists (and accompanying rules) to be taught in elementary, middle school and high school (English and Spanish).
- Social Studies TEKS revisions.
The official public comment period for both items ends on ok June 15.
Final Adoption
The SBOE Committee of the Whole will also accept written comments and public testimony at the June SBOE meeting before the board’s anticipated second reading/final adoption vote at the Friday, June 26, 2026, general meeting.
