Spring 2026 End-of-Course Test Results Show Gains in All Subjects

The TEA today (June 10, 2026) released the spring 2026 STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) assessment results in all tested subjects (Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II, and U.S. History).

Statewide, although the “meets grade standard” levels increased in all four subject areas from 2025 to 2026, the Algebra I and U.S. History “meets grade level” mastery percentages lag behind pre-Covid levels (see graphic).

The results for the spring 2026 grades 3-to-8 testing will be publicly posted by TEA on June 16.
