Hidden Camera Videos Ensnare Two More ISDs in Texas AG Paxton’s Investigatory Net

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced today his goal of “protecting women’s sports” has resulted in him demanding documents from the Richardson and Hutto ISDs.
Paxton, on Feb. 6, made similar demands of Dallas ISD and Irving ISD (article).
What all four ISDs have in common is that an administrator in each of the districts fell victim to being secretly video recorded in a conversation with a “parent” who was in reality an undercover journalist with Accuracy in Media (AIM) — a nonprofit conservative media watchdog organization known for conducting hidden camera investigations.
The videos purportedly recorded the administrators giving advice on how to circumvent state law requiring students to play sports by their gender on their original birth certificates. The targeted Richardson ISD administrator also purportedly gave advice to the “parent” on how her transgender child would be able to travel and stay overnight with the rest of the female students.
The targeted administrators in the Hutto and Irving districts resigned after the videos surfaced, reports reflect.
Paxton gave each of the districts 10 business days to respond.
