TEA Releases Preliminary 2023 A-F Ratings to ISDs and Charters

The TEA on Thursday (April 17) announced that it has confidentially released the preliminary 2023 A-F campus and district accountability ratings to ISDs and charters, and that the preliminary ratings will be publicly released on Thursday, April 24.

The same state appeals court has not yet ruled on a separate lawsuit that has kept the TEA from thus far releasing the 2024 ratings.

Separately, the TEA on Thursday (April 17) also announced it has posted the proposed Accountability System Manual for 2026 for public comment, with the final version of the manual to be adopted no earlier than May 18, 2025.
