TEA Sets Friday Release Date for Fiscal Ratings

The TEA announced today (Aug. 5) that the preliminary ISD and charter 2024-25 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) results will be publicly released on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025.

The ratings were privately posted to ISDs and charters today, the TEA’s announcement says.

Final FIRST ratings, with any changes resulting from appeals, will be posted later this year.

The TEA still plans to jointly release (article) both the 2024 and 2025 A-F accountability ratings on Friday, Aug. 15 (after having privately posted these ratings to ISDs and charters on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025).
