Texas Supreme Court to Hear TSTA Fight Over ISD Charter Teacher Rights

The Texas Supreme Court announced Friday (June 12, 2026) that it will hear a dispute between the Texas State Teachers Association and Education Commissioner Mike Morath over a TEA rule governing “operating partner” charter campuses that take over struggling ISD campuses.
